Juices and smoothies from fruits and vegetables can be taken alone or combined. Drinks can be made as part of your daily diet or consumed solely for a 1-5 day juice fast. Fruits and vegetables should always be made fresh and be organic or have been washed in a water and bicarbonate of soda solution first. If choosing to do a juice fast see this guide here.

Cranberry Juice: This juice is well known to treat urinary tract infections, and is an excellent juice to heal the urinary system. Cranberries are high in sulphur content, but also high in oxalic and tannic acids. This juice should be used as a temporary medicine, and not in excess.

Cherry Juice: This juice is an excellent treatment for gout and arthritis as it lowers uric acid levels in the blood. A strong alkalinizer and blood cleanser, it also increases elimination of acids held in body tissues. Effective liver and kidney cleanse.

Dilute with water, and drink immediately. If your body is highly acidic, apple juice fasts can lead to sore gums and teeth. If this occurs, then switch to another juice and come back to apple juice cleansing after you have experienced a couple of cleanses with another juice.

Grapefruit contains organic salicylic acid, which aids in dissolving inorganic calcium.
